PES 2010 Dribbling Moves and Tricks

Do note that all DIRECTIONS are relative to where the player is facing. When I say press LEFT, and you are attacking from left to right, you press UP.

Matthews Feint - When player stationary, press LEFT (of dribbler) lightly, then RIGHT
Drag Back - When player stationary, BACK twice
V- feint - Drag back, then immediately DIAGONAL FORWARD
Side Drag - When player stationary, press LEFT or RIGHT once. The player will continue this move till another command is given.
Flick up/Chip - When running, press BACK then FORWARD quickly. I find it easier to execute when holding down SPRINT button.

360/ Marseille Roulette - When running, make a circle on the D-Pad. (UP LEFT DOWN RIGHT)

Sprinting in PES 2010 gets you pass players, yet could cause you to lose control of the ball.
Making sudden turns would commit your opponent into a sliding tackle and give you a clear path forward.

My favourite - move diagonally towards the defender's right, followed by diagonally left, and sprint pass him.

Another method - turn 90degrees up/down, and turn back towards goal when you beat the defender.

The fake shot technique in PES 2010 could trick your way past defenders.
Use the fake shot and move to the direction of your stronger foot, allowing you to pull off a good shot quickly

PES Master League Good Players

Thursday, January 21, 2010

I've played around 3-4 seasons of ML with valencia. The point of this thread is to report the players which are guaranteed transfers so long as you negotiate from week 1 2009 with scout level 5. These are a handful of quality players I have purchased every first season transfer window without fail. I tried this with my new ML team Arsenal with default players.

CF Osvaldo
CF Di Vaio
SMF Wijnaldum
DMF Catermole

All 4 of these players have proven development curves. I was also able to easily purchase di vaio, wijnaldum and catermole in my first season with valencia.

Other players i have bought while playing as arsenal are ninis (AMF looks to be a young star with a solid development) on a free trade, cardacio (SMF from AC Milan who at 20 hopefully will steadily improve) and palmieri and oscar (palmieri has a steady development in my experience hitting mid 70's by the 3rd season), oscars development was actually quite slow for me.

Some other good buys I made were:

Paonessa (ss)
Nashat Akram (amf)
Cerci (smf that plays far better than his 79 overall stat at 24)
Iluznica (cmf)
Horymaqua (CB)

PES Master League Transfers

a few things when negotiating transfers

- The initial transfer fee suggested by a club is ALWAYS open to negotiation

- Changing this fee by 25-30% is normally acceptable

- A players wage demands aren't so flexible. A player normally wants 10% more than their value.

- A player will seek less than their value if they are unhappy at a club but even then re-negotiaiting the wage should only be to a slight degree

- The length of contract requested is normally short but is never a deal breaker. (For instance if a player wants a 1 year contract and you say 5, they will almost always return with a compromise.)

- The assessment by the scout that "A deal seems unlikely" doesn't mean you wont get the player. You should always attempt to sign a player even if you get this assessment.

- Go to Scout Recommendations and get a list of players based on their openness towards negotiation. Sort the list on the descending order of overall rating. Look for really cheap players with great stats, apply for negotiations and your success rate in reaching an agreement will be close to 100%.

- Keep your youth team's operating costs at the highest level. That way, among the 10 or so kids in the youth team, you'll get atleast a 75~80 rated player at the beginning of each season. If you're lucky, you might even bump into 16-year-olds with 95 or such stats.

- Try to negotiate a couple of weeks before the january and june-july transfer windows. That way, even i
