The trick to scoring from penalties is to press shoot for a bit, probablyhalf a second to get some power in but not so much power that it will go over. Now, flick your analog stick (or a slight tap on the d-pad..whichever you use). The more displacement in your flick the further away from centre the ball will go.similarly the longer you tap the d-pad the further away the ball will go. I advise using the analog because it is so much easier to choose exactly where you want the ball to go, I can even make it go in off the posts which rules out a save.
